Join us for these upcoming “By the Trees – San Po Kong Guided Tours: Community Culture Walk and Community Trees Walk” to explore the inspirational journeys led by the House of Hong Kong Literature and the Conservancy Association respectively, and meet the trees mentioned in the recently published book By the Trees – San Po Kong.

The Community Culture Walk, led by writer Tong Yui who also grew up in San Po Kong, will share his thoughts and inspiration behind the piece he has written for By the Trees – San Po Kong, and study the pieces of other co-authors. On the other hand, the Community Trees Walk led by So Kwok Yin, Chief Executive of the Conservancy Association will take a different approach to explore the relationship between the trees and the neighbourhood, as well as people in the southern part of San Po Kong. We invite you to follow the map illustrated by June Ho in By the Trees – San Po Kong and discover the stories of the trees there.  All participants will receive a complimentary copy of By the Trees – San Po Kong.
